Make your T Go: Mobile Technology and Training

So, I opened my big host mouth at the end of last show and said:

“On the next show, we will talk about Mobile Technology and Training.”

Great.   Nice statement, but how do I make our first ( and I hope not last) “specific theme” show worth listening to?

By begging for links and specific ideas of things to talk about around “Mobile Technology and Training.”

Even though I have a few ideas, I want this to be about your information needs.

One Idea: Podcast Trumps Lecture: Based on an article in ESchool News, podcasts of lectures were more effective than attending the lecture in this study.   To make this really happen your input is needed.

So, feel free to comment here or on our FriendFeed Room about what YOU want to talk about around Moble Technology and Training.

Seriously.  Give your input. Make the show.   Join the call.

We tape at 2 pm Eastern March 27th .

Where and How? : The show’s address is here: You can listen live by clicking on the show’s page. You can call in, listen to the stream, or come by and chat.  It is up to you, but please do come. If you want to participate with your voice on the call, you should probably join Talkshoe before the show. You can catch up with all of the episodes  you may have missed by going to the Talkshoe either via the sidebar widget or via the web.

  1. I’m doing a social networking workshop at SLA in June (with Sophia Guevara) and we’ve talked about what technology people will need for the hands-on. We want people to come with laptops, but what if people come with iPhones? mmm…these are computing devices and will people begin to expect that they can “do” class on them? Should we be teaching people how to use these devices for “ordinary” work? Should we be prodding our vendors to build ILS’s (etc.) that are PMP friendly?
