Inspired by various flavors of end of the end of the year posting, today’s Sixty-second show will be all about the year in review.
We tape today at 2 pm eastern time today Friday December 17th!
We will take a break this Winter and return on January 14th 2011 with a fresh episode.
If you want anyone interviewed for our intersession report. As in anyone who would contribute mightily to this Training and Staff Development program, let me know and I will try to talk to them during the break.
We will talk about what one or two thing we learned today and perhaps tackle to T is for Training questionnaire.
1) A Look Back (If you didn’t get a chance to say so last time…):
Best Conference you attended and why?
Best Training you attended and why?
Best New Resource?
Most Unexpected Training Topic?
Best things you learned this year?
2) A Look Ahead:
What are you looking forward to in 2011?
What new technology training they expect to do in 2011?
What conference are you looking forward to attending/presenting next year?
What training you think will not be needed this coming year?
3) A Look Inside: Just a couple of questions for each of our guests.
The 10 questions:
What is your favorite word to hear in training?
What is your least favorite word in training?
What sound do you like to hear in training?
What sound do you hate to hear in training?
What other profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
What other training would you like to do?
What other profession would you not like to do?
What type of training you do not like to do?
What things turns you on about training?
What things turn you off about training?
And of course what subjects you bring to the show.
T is for Training is supported by you the audience and our usual supporters LISHost, the library friendly hosting service ,the Library Society of the World and the ALA Learning Round Table, LearnRT, of the American Library Association (ALA).
